Cranial helmet for babies in Turkey
A baby's skull grows quickly in the first year. Flattening caused by lying in the same position can often be corrected with positioning or, in moderate and severe cases, with a custom cranial helmet.
How treatment works
- Measurement and documentation of head shape
- Custom helmet design and production
- Fitting and family instructions
- Regular check-ups and internal adjustments
When should we start?
The earlier treatment starts, the more growth is available for correction. Please consult your paediatrician first if you notice flattening or asymmetry. More (Turkish): cranial helmet, head shape in babies.

Frequently asked questions
How long is the helmet worn?
Usually several months, depending on the baby's age and the severity; the helmet is worn about 23 hours a day.
Does the helmet hurt the baby?
A correctly fitted and regularly checked helmet is comfortable; babies usually adapt within a few days.
Can families from abroad do the treatment?
Treatment needs regular check-ups, so we plan the visits together with the family before starting.
